In compliance with the Code of Virginia, Section 22.1-346.2 The VSDB Board of Visitors meeting scheduled for September 21st has been cancelled.
The Code of Virginia, Section 22.1-346.2(B) states that “the Board of Visitors shall meet no more than four times each year.”
To date, the VSDB Board of Visitors has met its restricted number of four meetings for the 2023 calendar year (January 5th, March 8th, March 31st, and July 20th).
The Board looks forward to resuming its regular quarterly meeting schedule in 2024.
PUBLIC NOTICE - The Board of Visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind will meet in person on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Capitol Building, Senate Room 1, 1000 Bank Street, Richmond, VA 23218, to conduct a regular meeting. The meeting will be open to the public. Public comment will be accepted at the end of the regular meeting.
During this meeting, the Board will convene in a closed session pursuant to §2.2-3711(A)(1) to discuss the performance of an employee of VSDB. Upon certification, the Board will reconvene.
