Our team is currently cruisin’ through Arkansas on their way to Austin, Texas, for the 2025 US High School Goalball Championships beginning tomorrow! There are 15 boys' teams and 13 girls' teams competing this year! The schedule is below for our pool play on Thursday and Friday. One of our students, Amayah, will be competing as a pool player with the Texas Girls team.

Coach Rachel shared that she and the other coaches are extremely proud and excited about all the practice & hard work these players have been putting in the last few months! They are hyped for the tough competition and very grateful for the opportunity to take our players across the country to represent VSDB and show 'em what we got! She extends a special "thank you" to the Administration, David Owens (Athletic Director), the VSDB Foundation, the Lions Club, and everyone for their love and support of our student athletes.

Our VSDB Boys Goalball Team is heading to the National Goalball Tournament at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) this week — and we are READY to represent Defender Nation on the national stage!
