Reading with a child with sensory impairments

Join us as Michelle O’Neal, Media Specialist at VSDB, and Julie Saum, VSDB Family Engagement Specialist, lead us in strategies for reading aloud picture books to children with sensory disabilities. Julie and Michelle will offer tips and suggestions while showing how to use story boxes and manipulatives. This event is for all Virginia families and professionals serving and caring for children ages 2-21.
